Yumzip Technologies is hiring Delivery Riders to support restaurant and food delivery operations across Assam.
As a Delivery Rider, you will be responsible for collecting orders from assigned restaurants or partner businesses and delivering them safely and on time to customers.
The role requires responsible driving, good knowledge of local routes, professional communication and a strong focus on customer service and delivery safety.
• Pick up assigned orders from restaurants or partner businesses.
• Deliver orders safely and within the assigned delivery time.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and use navigation tools when required.
• Handle food orders carefully during transportation.
• Verify order details before pickup and delivery.
• Maintain professional communication with restaurant staff and customers.
• Update delivery status through the designated Yumzip system or application.
• Report delivery issues, delays, address problems or order discrepancies promptly.
• Follow Yumzip's delivery, safety and operational guidelines.
• Maintain the assigned delivery vehicle or two-wheeler in safe working condition.
• Follow applicable traffic rules and road-safety requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct while representing Yumzip in the field.
• Valid two-wheeler driving licence.
• Access to a reliable two-wheeler for delivery work.
• Basic knowledge of smartphones, GPS and navigation applications.
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes is an advantage.
• Basic communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with restaurant staff and customers.
• Responsible and punctual approach to assigned deliveries.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
• Ability to follow delivery instructions and operational procedures.
• Previous delivery, logistics, courier or food-delivery experience is an advantage.
• Freshers may apply if they meet the required driving and operational requirements.
• Willingness to work across assigned locations in Assam.
