1. Platform Definition
Yumzip is a multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology platform. We provide independent digital infrastructure, software systems, and online storefront management solutions for the restaurant industry. Yumzip strictly provides technology, not food services. All participating restaurants operate as entirely independent digital sellers.
2. User & Restaurant Agreement
By registering or using our platform, both merchant restaurants and end-customers certify compliance with all platform guidelines. All registered parties are strictly responsible for maintaining account credential confidentiality. It is mandatory to provide authentic, verifiable, and precise data during registration.
3. Restaurant Responsibilities
Merchant partners using our software retain full administrative duties for their digital storefront, including:
- Updating real-time menu listings, pricing, taxes, and item availability accurately.
- Fulfilling orders promptly once accepted through the merchant panel.
- Ensuring comprehensive food quality, hygiene standards, state compliance, and delivery logistics (where self-managed).
4. Payments & Settlement
Yumzip offers a 0% commission architectural framework. Payment gateway integration setup allows direct-to-merchant transaction channels. Customer payouts route via linked payment gateways according to set automated cycles (Daily/Weekly) directly to the merchant’s bank records, minus third-party gateway processing fees.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Order cancellations are subject to real-time status thresholds. Eligibility for customer refunds depends entirely on the preparation stage and specific restaurant approval guidelines. Disputes concerning chargebacks or faulty items must be addressed directly between the customer and the respective restaurant dashboard.
6. Order Management
Restaurants retain autonomous authority over order acceptance or rejection based on operational load. Preparation timelines must be configured realistically within the system. Yumzip bears no operational accountability for unexpected delivery delays, logistics failures, or tracking issues.
7. Data Ownership & Privacy
Restaurant Owns Customer Relationship: Yumzip firmly upholds that all merchant clients hold absolute ownership over their compiled customer databases, sales insights, and transactional relationships. Yumzip acts strictly as a data processor under secure parameters and complies entirely with standard Indian data protection and information security acts.
8. Security Policy
Users and merchants remain fundamentally responsible for any activity executing under their login sessions. Yumzip deploys firewalls and industry-approved verification mechanisms to monitor and prevent automated fraud, system misuses, or unauthorized dashboard access attempts.
9. Platform Liability Disclaimer
Yumzip, its subsidiaries, and tech operators stand indemnified against any operational losses. We assume zero liability for raw food quality issues, structural health hazards, delivery operational misconduct, or sudden restaurant service suspensions. The system functions on an "as-is" technological distribution basis.
10. Prohibited Activities
Platform accounts will face legal investigation if discovered engaging in: creation of fraudulent or unverified restaurant nodes, automated spam orders, continuous digital payment exploitation, or the sale of restricted or illegal substances violating regional safety norms.
11. Suspension & Termination
Yumzip reserves administrative permissions to freeze, limit, or permanently block any merchant node or client application access immediately upon discovery of policy breaches, verified customer fraud, or repeated transactional misconduct.
12. Changes to Terms
Operational terms may be dynamically modified at any given period to align with tech ecosystem developments or legal transformations. System alerts or dashboard notifications will broadcast significant structure changes to active users.
13. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are strictly regulated by and structured according to the Laws of India. Any legal disputes, platform complaints, or statutory settlements fall under the exclusive regional jurisdiction of the courts located in Assam, India.

White-Label Storefront Responsibility: Restaurants understand that white-labeled domains and customized web links remain dependent on external registrar mappings and correct DNS entries handled by the merchant.
Platform Uptime SLA: While we guarantee high-efficiency server availability, Yumzip maintains a standard tier platform uptime disclaimer and is not responsible for localized network dropouts or upstream hosting provider maintenance cycles.
No Exclusivity: Yumzip offers software licenses without geographical market exclusivity; multiple regional restaurants may deploy independent systems concurrently.
